Renault kwid Budget-Friendly Auto: Cheaper than Maruti Suzuki Alto!

Renault Kwid-RXL 2024

Renault is making a splash in India with its latest launch – the 2024 Renault Kwid RXL(O) Easy-R AMT variant, now claiming the title of the most affordable automatic car in the country. Priced at just Rs 5.44 lakh (ex-showroom), it beats the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 automatic variant, which costs Rs 5.61 lakh (ex-showroom).

But it’s not just about the price tag. This new Kwid comes with a 999cc, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that packs a punch with 68 Bhp and 91 Nm of peak torque. Renault is not only focusing on performance but also on style. The 2024 Kwid range introduces three new dual-tone exterior body colors, making it a total of five – the most extensive dual-tone range in its segment.

Inside, the RXL(O) variant spoils you with an 8-inch touchscreen Media NAV system, making it the most affordable hatchback in the industry with this feature. Renault is also keeping an eye on safety, introducing a rear seatbelt reminder across all variants. With over 14 safety features as standard, the Kwid is positioning itself as the safest option in its class.

Renault is not stopping there – they’re revving up for a grand comeback of the iconic Duster SUV and planning to launch five new products in the next three years. The 2024 Kwid range is just the beginning, promising more value in terms of price and content on each variant. It seems like Renault is gearing up to impress and appeal to the Indian market in a big way.
