Hero MotoCorp has just unveiled its latest addition to the 125cc lineup, the Hero Xtreme 125R, priced at Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom). This new model is set to enhance the company’s existing 125cc portfolio, which includes popular models like Glamour, Super Splendor, and Super Splendor Xtec.
The Hero Xtreme 125R is powered by a brand-new 125cc SPRINT motor, known for its smooth power response and instant torque, thanks to the Engine Balancer Technology (EBT). The engine pumps out 11.4bhp, and the motorcycle can accelerate from 0 to 60kmph in just 5.9 seconds. Impressively, the Hero Xtreme 125R also boasts a claimed mileage of 66kmpl.
In terms of design and build, the motorcycle features a lightweight yet sturdy diamond-type frame. The front suspension is telescopic, while the rear boasts a seven-step adjustable monoshock. Equipped with alloy wheels and the widest-in-class 120/80 section rear tyre, the Hero Xtreme 125R ensures a comfortable and stable ride. Safety is a priority with the inclusion of a segment-first single-channel ABS paired with a 276mm front disc.
The Hero Xtreme 125R stands out with its segment-first projector LED headlamp, LED winkers, and taillamp, along with a compact muffler and a unique wheel cover. The motorcycle also includes a negative LCD instrument cluster featuring a gear position indicator, along with Bluetooth connectivity for call and SMS alerts. For added safety, a hazard lamp is also integrated.
Available in eye-catching color options like Firestorm Red, Cobalt Blue, and Stallion Black, the Hero Xtreme 125R is set to make a mark in the 125cc segment, offering a blend of style, performance, and innovative features.
