CTET 2024: Exam city information released by CBSE

CTET 2024 pre-admit card

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has just made it easier for aspiring teachers to get ready for the upcoming CTET 2024 exam. They’ve released the Pre-Admit Card, also known as the city centre intimation slip, which you can find on the official website. To download the admit card, you have to log in to the website using application number and date of birth.

Exam date:

Mark your calendars for 19th January 2024 because that’s when you can access your CTET 2024 Admit Card. The exam itself is scheduled for 21st January 2024 (Sunday) and will have two shifts. The morning shift (Shift 1) is from 09:30 am to 12:00 noon, and the afternoon shift (Shift 2) is from 02:30 pm to 05:00 pm. It’s a 2.5-hour long offline test.

Exam patterns:

Now, let’s talk about the nitty-gritty. The CTET 2024 Exam has two papers – Paper I for those who want to teach classes I to V and Paper II for those aiming for classes VI to VIII. Both papers consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) where you pick the right answer from four options.

Benefits of this exam:

And here’s the cool part: once you ace the CTET 2024, your certificate is like a golden ticket for seven years! Yes, seven whole years from the date they declare your results. This means you can apply for teaching positions in Central and State Government schools during this time. So, buckle up, get that admit card, and show them what you’ve got on 21st January 2024! Good luck!
